A farewell post...
We managed to get 6 issues out into the wild south-west wilderness, had a great time and threw some great parties, but its now time to call it a day. The reasons for this are loosely based on boring things like money, but also a need for us all to move on and do our own things.
Thanks so much for you support, all of you, but especially to the tireless efforts of Tamsin Baker, Kyle Holloway and...

Moth of the Day
This cheery chap is called the ‘Common Sailor’ moth. Great name, though I wouldn’t put him in charge of ship. What would happen if he saw a lighthouse?

RIP The Foundry
We strolled over to trendy pub ‘The Foundry’ in Old St. this week, only to find it wasn’t there anymore. Or rather, it was there, though only really in spirit. Apparently a posh hotel had bought the building, which the local arty kids didn’t like the idea of very much, so they squatted it. We grabbed some tinnies and joined the party. Now some of us (me) hadn’t eaten...
World's worst demo EVER. →
The title of this post may sound like a cheap Channel 5 show, but it really sums it up nicely. Download and enjoy.
Dear all these people... You're NOT Gaga.
I’m sure you can’t help notice the amount of major label Gaga imposters doing the rounds at the moment. First off, we had Cascada getting in on the act:
Which was predictably, shit.
Then there was Ke$ha. For a few opening bars we thought perhaps she was going to go the way of ripping off Uffie.. but then BAM. Gaga.
Anyway, maybe slightly less predictably, it was shit.
And...

Klaxons - Flashover →
I know we’re late on this one, and if you give a shit (or even if you don’t) you’ve almost definitely heard it. I wanted to make sure I formed a fair opinion on it though, so after repeat listens throughout the day, I’ve coming to this conclusion: It’s fucking good.
On the first listen it’s undeniably Klaxons. You can’t help but think it could have...
Hurts.. or should that be Daggers - Better Than...
So the first Hurts single, Better Than Love is out on the 24th of May. Excited? You should be. It’s been going round that this is infact a song from a previous band featuring the Hurts members - Daggers. We’ve been good enough to track down the original Daggers version for you:

And now enjoy the (more or less the same) Hurts...
I really hope this is real.

What’s that you say? Women are only good for three things? Cooking, cleaning, and vaginas? THINK AGAIN. House band POLLY AND THE KETTLES and new girls on the block SHE FORGOT HER BOOTS will be demonstrating that women are actually good for 4 things: Cooking, cleaning, vaginas… and their sisters vaginas. Oh.. and er.. making music. Doing it for the boys will be THE SHUFFLE (not just a...

Hello! I’m the Lindt chocolate reindeer. The people at Lindt made too many of me last year, but fear not! I will not be thrown out, or melted down, reshaped and put into little boxes.
No need! All they had to do was cut the back off me, and repackage me as the Lindt Easter bunny!
Pretty impressive, eh? But what happens if I don’t sell this time, I hear you ask! Fear not, Lindt...

A Bitter Pill For Sugarhill
In 2007, Sugarhill was a triumph. They probably lost a few quid, but audience numbers weren’t bad and the future looked bright. Since then, it’s been a downhill slide year on year for the Warren Farm event, and this year looks set to be the final nail in the coffin.
The organisers will pin the disaster that was the 2008 festival on bad luck. The heavy rainfall that weekend...

Our friend Matthew Kilford will probably get to play at Glastonbury this year, but only if you vote for him. He’s the chap above, if you were wondering. Click clicky.
